Help students discover the warrior within.
The Warrior Within brings confidence, teamwork and practical learning together for primary and secondary school students. Through martial arts, self-defence and participatory activities, students explore resilience, empathy, respect and fairness.
Each experience is shaped around your school's objectives, age group and setting.

Learning through participation
Students bring different strengths, experiences and levels of confidence. A shared activity can give them a chance to contribute, listen to others and discover what they can do. Damien combines mentoring and practical learning, with the approach shaped around the school's objectives and the cohort taking part.
Students explore personal safety, awareness, assertiveness and constructive ways to manage conflict. Activities encourage them to consider different perspectives, take responsibility for their behaviour and respond to bullying, prejudice and discrimination.
Confidence
Create opportunities for students to try, practise and recognise progress.
Teamwork
Encourage students to communicate, support one another and contribute to a shared goal.
Inclusion
Explore how actions affect others and how students can help create a sense of belonging.
Choose the setting that suits your school
The Warrior Within can be delivered at your school, at Empower Tactical, or as part of a school camp. Discuss the setting and activities with Damien to plan a suitable program.
School incursions
Bring Empower Tactical into your school for practical self-defence, teamwork and scenario-based activities, shaped around your students' needs and learning goals.
Excursions to Empower Tactical
Visit Empower Tactical for a practical learning experience combining self-defence training, team activities and scenario drills suited to the students' age group.
School-camp activities
Add self-defence and team activities to your school-camp experience, with opportunities to practise communication, leadership and problem-solving. Discuss the setting and activities with Damien to plan a suitable program.

When stories become part of the learning
Collaborative storytelling and staged choreography give students another way to explore bullying, empathy and inclusion. Where agreed with the school, students may help develop and perform a story. Filming, editing and public sharing are discussed separately as part of the project.
Plan a program around your students
Tell us about your school, year levels, approximate group size, goals, preferred dates and whether you're considering an incursion, excursion or camp activity. Damien can discuss a suitable approach with you.
